INVESTIGATION OF SPORTS SERVICES ACTIVITIES IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN TERMS OF VARIOUS VARIABLES

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Human beings are born as a social being by nature. It is known that it is affected by its environment both physically and mentally. In a globalizing world, the execution of sports services activities is of great importance. In most developed and developing countries, the coordination of sports services activities of the countries has been given to local governments. In the Western world, the concept of sport is handled at a deep-rooted and technical level in line with the needs of the public. Today, local governments have important duties in meeting the sports needs of individuals through local governments. In the researches on sports management, only the Republic of Turkey has shown to the whole world the value it attaches to sports with such a feature by securing sports, which is the most basic need of the citizens of our country, with the constitution. With Articles 58 and 59 of the Constitution, providing all kinds of opportunities for the spread and performance of sports to the masses, protecting young people from all kinds of harmful and bad habits and protecting them by protecting them from all kinds of harmful and bad habits has assigned great responsibilities to local governments. It is aimed that the understanding of the social state protects its citizens with laws and that sports services are taken to all four corners of the country equally. Local governments can be able to do this primarily with leaders who are well-trained in their field, who are trained from the sports community and who will analyze the world well in terms of technical knowledge and skills. Our main purpose in this research is to analyze sportive activities in local governments in terms of various variables. In the study, the survey model, one of the descriptive research models, was used. In this context, a comprehensive review of domestic and foreign literature in the field and the perspective of developed countries on local governments were compared with our country. At the end of the research, scientific studies in the literature were examined, sports services in local governments in our country and developed countries were evaluated with the observation technique and various suggestions were made to the stakeholders of sports.
