During the research process, primarily academic articles, theses, journals, newspapers and books related to the Paralympic Games and sports management were comprehensively covered through document review. In addition, data was obtained from the official sources and databases of the Turkish Paralympic Committee. It has been determined that the Paralympic Games are effective in increasing the social visibility and social adaptation of individuals with disabilities, and that sports management plays a key role in this process. The increase in the number of participating countries and athletes reflects the international impact and social progress of the Paralympic Games. It has been determined that the development in Turkey's participation in the Paralympic Games has increased the social adaptation and international visibility of individuals with disabilities. However, it has been determined that there are problems such as deficiencies in media representation and gender-based discrimination. As a result, sport governance plays a critical role in strategically supporting the Paralympic Games, ensuring fairer media representation and raising public awareness. Increasing participation in the Paralympic Games supports the social integration of people with disabilities through sport by providing greater international visibility and public acceptance.
