INVESTIGATION OF JOB SATISFACTION AND BURNOUT OF TRAINERS WORKING IN MUNICIPALITY DEPARTMENTS PROVIDING SPORTS SERVICES

This study was prepared to examine the job satisfaction and burnout of instructors working in sports service departments of municipalities. In the study, relational scanning and causal comparison methods were used. Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale were used as data collection tools in the study. The population of the research consists of the personnel of Başakşehir Municipality and Esenyurt Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate in Istanbul. Convenience sampling method was used in the study, which was conducted on a voluntary basis. The analyzes of the research were defined in the SPSS 25.0 package program and the analyzes were carried out through this program. As statistical analysis, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and Spearman Correlation analysis were applied. As a result, the job satisfaction levels and burnout levels of the participants do not change depending on their gender. It has been determined that job satisfaction decreases with increasing age. It was determined that there was a weak positive relationship between job satisfaction levels and burnout.
