Abstract
Bu araştırma uluslararası öğrencilerin sosyalleşme sürecindeki spor aktivitelerinin rolünü belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan kişisel bilgi forumu ve Şahan, (2007) tarafından oluşturulan SSÖ kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 25 programı kullanılarak 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde, %95 güven aralığında veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Kişisel bilgi formunda yer alan araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan bireylerin kişisel bilgilerini belirlemeye yönelik tanımlayıcı istatistikleri hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde normal dağılımın olup olmadığını tespit etmek için Kolmogrov-Smirnow testi yapılmıştır. İstatistiksel olarak, Kruskal Wallis H testi, Mann Witney U testi, yüzde ve kat sayı hesaplamaları ile frekans hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Uluslararası öğrencilerin sosyalleşme sürecindeki spor aktivitelerinin rolü üzerine elde edilen verilerin sonucunda spor branşı değişkeni, haftalık spor yapma süresi, spor beceri seviyesi, ADÜ’ yü tercih sebebi değişkenlerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülür iken; yaş, eğitim düzeyi, spor yapma durumu, bölüm, ülke değişkenlerinde istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir.

Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the role of sports activities in the socialization process of international students. The personal information forum created by the researcher and the SSQ created by Şahan, (2007) were used. In the analysis of the data, using the SPSS 25 program, the data were evaluated at a significance level of 0.05 and a confidence interval of 95%. Descriptive statistics were calculated to determine the personal information of individuals who voluntarily participated in the research in the personal information forum. The Kolmogrov-Smirnow test was used to determine whether there was a normal distribution in the analysis of the data. Statistically, Kruskal Wallis H test, Mann Witney U test, percentage and coefficient calculations and frequency calculations were made. As a result of the data obtained on the role of sports activities in the socialization process of international students, there is a statistically significant difference in the variables of sports branch, weekly sports time, sports skill level, reason for preferring ADU; There was no statistically significant difference in the variables of age, education level, sports status, department and country.
