Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, oturarak voleybol sporcularının sosyal görünüşlük kaygıların incelenmesidir.
Araştırmaya Türkiye Bedensel Engelliler Spor Federasyonu bünyesindeki 2021-2022 sezonu Oturarak Voleybol Süper Ligindeki 55’i erkek, 11’i kız toplam 66 sporcu katılmıştır. Araştırmadaki verilerin toplanmasında Sosyal görünüşlük ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler google formlar üzerinden sporculara gönderilerek elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi SPSS 24.0 programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre ise sosyal görünüşlük kaygılarının cinsiyet, yaş grubu, amputasyon durumuna göre anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmemiştir (p>0.05). Amputasyon seviyesi ve engel durumuna göre ise anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05).
Araştırma sonucuna göre ise diz altı amputasyona sahip olan sporcuların ve doğuştan engelli olan sporcuların daha fazla sosyal görünüşlük kaygısına sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda bu gruptaki sporcuların sosyal görünüşlük kaygılarının azaltılmasında gerekli çalışmaların yapılması önem arz etmektedir.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the social appearance concerns of sitting volleyball athletes.
A total of 66 athletes, 55 boys and 11 girls, in the 2021-2022 season Sitting Volleyball Super League within the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation participated in the research. Social appearance scale was used to collect data in the study. The data was obtained by sending it to the athletes via Google forms. Data analysis was done using SPSS 24.0 program. According to the research findings, no significant differences were detected in social appearance concerns according to gender, age group, and amputation status (p>0.05). Significant differences were detected according to amputation level and disability (p<0.05).
According to the results of the research, it was concluded that athletes with below-knee amputations and athletes with congenital disabilities have more social appearance anxiety. In this context, it is important to carry out the necessary studies to reduce the social appearance concerns of athletes in this group.
